- Acquire New Equipment: Keep buying new bodies, launchers, stages, and boosts. You can sell unwanted items for a full refund. Aim for the space ship, reactor, four sonic booms, and four mini helpers. The sonic booms are exceptionally powerful at max level, and the mini helpers weigh very little.
- Upgrade Priorities: Upgrade the body first to increase space for more boosts and improve max speed. Then, upgrade stages, spreading upgrade levels evenly.
- Bonus Shop Investments: Buy the money-earning upgrades, stage power, and extra levels for body and stages in the bonus shop. Also, acquire the extra bonus points card for daily bonus points.
The Black Market
The Black Market allows players to buy items in exchange for sardines (Rare Points), some of which are exclusive to the Black Market.
Exclusive Items
Everything found in the Black Market can be bought as one unit. These are items that are exclusive to the Black Market. They are the Big B.I.R.D, the Launch Pad, the Shields, the DIY, the Vector, and the Rodeo.
Extra Options
A bunch of extra options that can be accessed through the shop screen. Extended Upgrades let you upgrade all items (Bodies, Launchers, Stages, Boosts, and Bonus Shop) to Max Level +100. You'll have to upgrade their respective tools first at the Bonus Shop. Time Warp lets you activate Fast-Forward and Slo-mo, hotkeys being F and G, respectively. Consumables cost 10 sardines each. Booster Packs (the 5-card variation) are 30 sardines each.
Speedrunning for Sardines
Speedrunning certain heights can be an efficient way to earn sardines. Completing two short heights can often be faster than completing one max height for the same reward.
Common Issues and Solutions
Kongregate Integration
Sadly, nothing related to Kongregate integration works in Ruffle. Normally this just means badges and high scores, but this game in particular locks out a huge part of the game unless you're logged in… I think the only workaround is to play the Steam version, unless the devs come back and fix it or some hacks are added to Ruffle and Kongregate to make integration work again.

Lagging and Crashing
Some players have reported that after about 1 hour of play it lags until it crashes and when I reload it's back to buttery smooth.
Unlocking Moon Breaker
To unlock Moon Breaker, leave Earth fast in a completed story mode. Avoiding obstacles and excessive spinning can help achieve this.
Additional Tips and Observations
- Item Uniqueness: Every item in the game is unique, requiring different strategies for optimal use. For example, the spring launcher operates differently from the grenade launcher.
- Physics: The game's physics, particularly how weight affects the penguin, adds a humorous and engaging element to the gameplay.
- Obstacles: Obstacles can significantly disrupt your flight path, sometimes causing unexpected spins.
- Falling Mechanic: There is an option to fall and not end the day automatically.
Community Feedback and Suggestions
Many players have expressed a desire for:
- A bonus shop item for starting cash.
- More achievements to provide additional goals.
- A combination of the rocket ship mechanics from Learn to Fly 3 and the gliding mechanics of the first and second games in a potential fourth installment.
