The total program cost at Western Welding Academy is $17,050, which includes:

Tuition with Housing: $12,450. This covers not only the welding training itself but also provides a place to stay during the program.
ESAB Welding Machine: $4,500. Students get to keep this high-quality welding machine after graduation, providing them with a valuable tool for their future careers.

Upfront Payment

Students can pay their tuition in full before starting school using cash, 529 accounts, or education savings.

Private Loans

Western Welding Academy partners with lenders to help students secure private loans. These loans can cover partial or full tuition, with options to spread payments over time or defer them after graduation. Ascent Career Training & Trade School Loans are consumer loans.

Payments can be spread over time, and there is an option to defer payments after school.
Make minimum payments while in-school and for three months after.
Make full payments beginning about one month after your program starts.
Make interest-only payments while in-school and for three months after.
Make no payments while in-school and for three months after.
Every repayment plan is not available at every school or for every program.
Ascent loans are not private student loans, interest paid may not be tax-deductible.
There are two ways to qualify for an Ascent bootcamp loan: on your own, or with a cosigner.
Depending upon your credit health, a cosigner might be required.
Cosigners may strengthen your application’s overall credit health.
In some scenarios, adding a cosigner may reduce your interest rate and lower your payments.
You will be charged an origination fee of 5.0%.
Washington residents will have a 4% origination fee applied to the first $20,000 of the borrowed amount, and a 2% origination fee applied to any amount borrowed over $20,000.
Ascent can’t increase your loan amount after you apply.
You can submit an application and become pre-qualified as early as 90 days before your program.
An Automatic Payment Discount of 1.00% discount is applied to all Ascent career training loans bearing an interest rate when you enroll in automatic payments.
You can reduce your total cost by making early payments.
Aspire and Launch are the loan servicers for Ascent’s loans.
Loans subject to individual approval, restrictions and conditions apply.
The final amount approved depends on the borrower’s credit history, verifiable cost of attendance as certified by an eligible school and is subject to credit approval and verification of application information.
