Apartment Communities

All academic break periods (Winter Break & Spring Break) are included in the base price of all apartment style units (101 Corry, CP Cincy, Jefferson House, Morgens Hall, Scioto Hall, University Edge, The Union on Taft, USquare, The Eden and University Park Apartments).

Bearcat Card (BCC) dollars may be added to the student's ID separately from the meal plan. BCC dollars may be spent at any on-campus food location (including dining centers) as well as off-campus locations participating in the BCC program. Dining Centers are closed during break periods.

Application Process
The application for University Housing and other related deadlines typically follow a cycle each year. The sooner you apply, the better chance you have of being assigned your desired room type. This is your exciting first step in creating your home within the vibrant UC community. Students attending regional campuses (UC Blue Ash or UC Clermont) are generally eligible for University Housing and follow the process outlined for incoming first-year students on this page. All other students (upperclass students not currently residing in housing, transfer students, etc.) seeking placement in university housing are eligible to join the housing waitlist.
To apply for housing, students must submit a non-refundable application fee. Pell-eligible students may qualify for a fee waiver.
Off-Campus Housing: Independence and Variety
For students seeking more independence or different living arrangements, off-campus housing offers a wide range of options in the surrounding Clifton area. Private rentals and leases play a crucial role in UC's housing culture and the vibrant Clifton areas.
Off-Campus Housing Costs

A shared apartment or house near the campus could range from $500 to $1,000 per month per person, depending on the number of roommates and the apartment's quality. Tuition Guarantee and Differential Fees
The Cincinnati Tuition Guarantee is a cohort-based program that sets tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board at a consistent rate for up to four or five years depending on the length of a student's academic program. Full-time students taking classes outside of their primary career and/or campus, where costs are higher, will be subject to a “differential fee.” The amount of the fee is the difference between their primary career/campus flat rate instructional fee and the higher career/campus instructional fee. This fee will be assessed only when a student is enrolled in 7 or more credit hours at the campus/career with the higher costs. Students taking fewer than 7 hours will not be assessed this fee.
Transportation and Parking
Bike parking racks are located throughout the Clifton campus for storing your bike. Students are encouraged to register their bikes and/or scooters with UC Public Safety, in an effort to identify it in the event of theft. Regional campus students may still work in most roles at the Uptown campus. Regional students may utilize parking services at the Uptown campus. Purchase parking passes at the Uptown campus, pay to park in garages on a daily basis, or utilize off-campus parking in the area. Parking passes sell out relatively quickly, so keep in mind to purchase and/or renew passes well ahead of the start of the semester.

Any student may utilize Counseling and Psychological Services at the Uptown Campus. The main CAPS office is located at 225 Calhoun St., Suite 200.
