Hispanic College Fund Scholarships

Target All-Around Scholarships

Every year, Target Corporation awards 2100 All-Around Scholarships to college-bound students across the country. To be eligible for a Target All-Around Scholarship, students must be high school graduates under the age of 24 who are enrolled, or soon to enroll, in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university. The deadline for applying for any of Target’s regional or national scholarships is November 1st.

Target Scholars Program

Target teamed up with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to create a special program to support 1,000 students studying technology, design and leadership at Historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) across the country. Each student will receive an additional $10,000 over the next three years to support the completion of their degree, plus continued access to resources like coaching, mentoring, internships and more. And Target will support students’ enrollment at any HBCU, ensuring they’ll still be eligible for the program should they need or choose to transfer to another school.

UNCF College Success Coaches

Target Scholars is set apart from other scholarship programs by ongoing student support through UNCF College Success Coaches, positions funded by Target and uniquely created to help each Scholar navigate their college journey. Target Scholars are provided so much more than just financial assistance. They also receive academic support as well as mentoring, internship opportunities and networking opportunities. These wrap-around services are what scholars need to thrive and succeed as they go on their academic journey. Being a part of the Target Scholars Program has helped the scholars create a sense of community, but it also provides a safe space for scholars to learn and grow together.

Since launching in September 2021, more than 10,000 Target team members have graduated from Dream to Be programs earning degrees, professional certificates and other educational achievements. Dream to Be is one way Target backs team members’ ambitions with real resources so they can grow in the ways that are meaningful to them. From learning new skills to completing long-held educational goals, Target team members get to choose what growth looks like for them. Since Target launched Dream to Be in September 2021, there have been more than 40,000 enrollments in the program and over 10,000 team members have graduated.
