Regis University is committed to making education accessible and affordable. In addition, the financial restrictions and needs of undergraduate, non-traditional, and/or international students are defined by their unique set of circumstances. Regis University offers a variety of programs to assist students in financing their education.
Merit-Based Academic Scholarships
Regis University awards academic scholarships based solely on academic achievement to full-time, first-year, and transfer students. These scholarships typically range from $20,000 to $33,000 and are renewable for four years of study (eight semesters). To maintain eligibility, students must maintain full-time undergraduate enrollment and meet specific cumulative GPA requirements. Students are notified of a scholarship award by the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the time of their admission.
Scholarships for International Students
Regis University recognizes the unique financial challenges faced by international students and offers several scholarships specifically for them.
The Dare to Dream Scholarship
The Dare to Dream Scholarship supports international students who have financial need but do not qualify for traditional financial aid.
The Fung Scholars and Fellows Program
The Fung Scholars and Fellows Program at Regis College is a four-year (fall and spring semester) undergraduate scholarship for residential students who are citizens of Hong Kong or Mainland China. The value of this scholarship is 50% of the cost of tuition for each year of enrollment. The scholarship also includes the fees associated with one service immersion trip through Regis College’s Center for Ministry and Service.

The Connors Scholarship
In the spirit of the generosity of Mr. Jack Connors, Regis College is proud to offer a four-year, full-tuition scholarship to one member of the incoming class that has an affiliation with a Boston area services organization. Preference is given to applicants who have an affiliation to Camp Harbor View as a counselor or camper.
The Connors Scholarship cannot be combined with any other institutional merit scholarships (including the Resident Grant). Connors recipients must maintain good academic status and remain full-time students.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Apply for admission by the February 1 priority deadline.
- Have an affiliation with a Boston area services organization, specifically as an active participant or volunteer.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from someone within the service organization.
- Complete the Connors Scholarship essay.

The Regis College Diverse Educator (RDE) Scholarship is a full-tuition, four-year (eight semesters) undergraduate scholarship for residential students committed to the field of education and to serving underrepresented populations in education. The Regis College Diverse Educator Scholarship cannot be combined with any other institutional merit scholarships (including the Resident Grant). RDE recipients must maintain good academic status and remain full-time students.

- Required to major in one of Regis College’s education majors.
- Required to live on campus as a residential student.
- Complete the Diverse Educator Scholarship essay.

The Regis Presidential Catholic Schools Scholarship
The Regis Presidential Catholic Schools Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition scholarship for residential students. Students from specific Catholic high schools and U.S. territories are eligible for this scholarship opportunity. Students must complete the Presidential Catholic Schools Scholarship essay.

The Sloane Scholarship
The Sloane Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition undergraduate scholarship available to one member of the incoming first-year class studying in the Sloane School of Business and Communication. The Sloane Scholarship cannot be combined with any other institutional merit scholarships (including the Resident Grant). Scholarship recipients must maintain good academic status and remain full-time students.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Plan to study in one of the majors in the Sloane School of Business and Communications.

The Compassionate Leadership Scholarship
The Compassionate Leadership Scholarship - established by renowned health care and social justice activist, philanthropist, author, and Regis College honorary degree recipient Donato J. Tramuto - is a scholarship opportunity for students currently studying in the Young School of Nursing. The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to one student in the amount of $5,000.
Carole Remick Foundation Scholarship
Full-time undergraduate students with an interest in a career in writing and/or communications will have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. Graduate students in the Digital Marketing Communication program will also have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. Awards will be applied directly to tuition.
Eligibility Requirements (Undergraduate):
Students must have an interest in a career in writing and/or communications. The application process requires prospective students to write a 500-word essay reflecting on how their academic goals align with the overall mission of the Carole Remick Foundation. Students must submit their essay to Dr. Colleen Malachowski, the Carole Remick Endowed Chair, and submit a portfolio of their work each semester for feedback.
Eligibility Requirements (Graduate):
Students must be in the graduate Digital Marketing Communication program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The application process requires prospective students to write a 500-word essay reflecting on how their academic goals align with the overall mission of the Carole Remick Foundation. Students must submit their essay to Dr. Hannah C. Bradley, and submit a portfolio of their work for feedback.
Scholarships Supporting Access and Inclusion
Regis University is dedicated to promoting educational access and inclusion.
Regis Access Advantage
Regis Access Advantage is an extension of the university’s longstanding commitment to promoting educational access and advancing its mission of service and inclusion. Students from Boston Excel Academy and U.S. territories who apply and are admitted to Regis will be eligible for full tuition at Regis using federal, state, and institutional funds. No loans are included in covering the full cost of tuition. Each year, Regis College awards scholarships to three graduating seniors of Boston Excel Academy who have been admitted to Regis.
Additional Scholarship Opportunities
The Hannah C. Bradley Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Hannah C. Bradley Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 by Jacalyn C. Egan, who identified the fact that non-traditional students pursuing an undergraduate degree face unique obstacles. The permanently endowed Hannah C. Bradley Fund supports non-traditional and/or international students.
The Mary Jane England ’59, MD President Emerita Scholarship
The Mary Jane England ’59, MD President Emerita Scholarship was established in 2010 to honor former Regis president Mary Jane England ’59, MD, and her achievements in health and her innovative leadership. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $10,000.
The Yellow Ribbon Program
The Yellow Ribbon Program allows institutions of higher learning to enter into a voluntary agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs to contribute funds to a veteran’s unmet tuition and fee charges.
The Goldwater Scholarship
The Goldwater Scholarship is limited to specific fields of study in the sciences.
