Unlocking Opportunities: A Guide to Evangel University Scholarships for International Students

Evangel University offers a range of scholarships and financial aid options to help students achieve their academic goals. This article focuses specifically on scholarships available to international students, alongside other financial aid opportunities and important information regarding studying abroad.

Understanding Financial Aid at Evangel University

Evangel University is committed to making education accessible. The university's tuition and fees for full-time undergraduate students average around $29,974 annually, positioning it as a relatively affordable option compared to many other institutions nationwide. Graduate tuition is significantly lower, around $8,304 with an additional $450 fee.

Institutional aid is subject to coordination with federal, state, institutional, and outside aid policies. In most cases, institutional aid is limited to 100% of tuition for students living on campus in the residence halls and 75% for commuter students. Some exceptions exist for premier academic and elite talent awards. Federal grants and outside awards are applied to Evangel charges before EU institutional scholarships and grants. The sum of all gift aid from inside and outside of EU is capped at direct costs.

It is important to note that institutional scholarships are non-refundable and cannot roll from term to term. Full-time enrollment and a 2.0 cumulative GPA are required to receive and renew institutional scholarships and grants. A 3.0 minimum GPA is required for students receiving the VSP/Founders Scholarship. Evangel scholarships and grants are supported by the generosity of donors. Students are required to complete a Scholarship Profile Survey each year. The survey is part of the registration checklist on the student portal. The survey will not result in an increase in scholarships but will be used to match the institutional scholarships received with potential donor-related funds. When a match is found, institutional scholarships may be underwritten or replaced by private and/or endowed funds. Institutional policies and scholarships are subject to change.
