Elite Resources for Effective Learning
In today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, equipping educators and students with the right resources is paramount. Elite resources can unlock potential, foster growth, and ultimately lead to more effective learning outcomes. This article explores a range of elite resources tailored for various aspects of education, from early childhood development to preparing students for the future.
History of Elite Education Group
Elite Education Group has been a cornerstone of academic excellence since 1987, when it founded the modern college preparation industry. Its approach focuses on long-term student development alongside rigorous critical thinking and test preparation. This foundation has allowed the group to specialize globally in K-12 education and prepare students for the demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution. The unthinkable acceleration in robotics, automation, AI, machine learning, biotech, and genomics requires a new education model. Elite Education Group aims to revolutionize schooling by empowering students with the ability to adapt, pursue creative passions, and retain strong fundamental skills.
Elite Virtual Academy: A Comprehensive and Personalized Approach
Elite Virtual Academy offers a high-quality, comprehensive education that prepares students for their academic, professional, and personal lives. The curriculum is designed to meet individual needs and goals through personalized education plans.
Curriculum
The Academy offers a wide range of A-G courses and CTE (Career Technical Education) pathways, allowing students to explore their interests and develop valuable skills. The extensive catalog of electives includes Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) classes and advanced placement (AP) courses. Additionally, students can concurrently enroll at community colleges to earn college credits while in high school. The curriculum is 100% online, targets essential California Common Core State Standards, and allows for student voice and choice in their learning.
Assessments
Assessments play a vital role in evaluating student progress and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning. The Academy uses i-Ready assessments in Reading and Math to determine each student’s strengths and areas for growth, allowing teachers to differentiate instruction and provide targeted support. 7th and 9th graders participate in Physical Fitness Testing. The English and Math California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing is administered to students in 6th, 7th, 8th and 11th grade, while students in 8th and 11th grade also take the CA Science Test. These state tests provide valuable insights for teachers and administrators, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and promote effective teaching and learning.

A Day in the Life
A Virtual Academy student enjoys flexibility and maintains a healthy balance between learning and pursuits outside of school, such as sports and work. Each student’s Teacher of Record helps create a personalized schedule that includes both school and personal activities and responsibilities. The Teacher of Record partners with families to oversee student progress and engagement in virtual courses, providing support and coordinating academic interventions and extensions. They also monitor student progress through assessment data and Weekly Check-In Meetings, and provide Academic Support Sessions.
Teacher's Role
Content teachers deliver engaging and informative lessons to ensure students’ academic progress and success. They provide live synchronous instruction, actively communicate with students through Canvas (the Learning Management System), provide prompt feedback on assignments, and offer lab hours for personalized academic support. Parent support is vital in ensuring student success. Elite Virtual Academy courses are completed online through the Canvas platform, although students dually enrolled with a community college may have print curriculum through their community college courses.
