General Requirements

To be eligible for the Edwards Lifesciences Internship program, applicants generally need to meet the following requirements:

  • Enrollment: Internship applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program for the entire duration of their internship. Current enrollment as a student at an accredited university for the duration of the Internship project with a graduation date of December 2026 or later is required.
  • Full-Time Availability: Ability to work full-time for the duration of the Internship (May/June 2026 - Aug 2026).
  • Academic Standing: Good scholastic standing (3.0+ cumulative GPA or equivalent).
  • Work Environment: Comfortability working in a lab environment, as well as being hands-on, highly motivated, able to follow procedures, perform testing, and clearly convey data results.
  • Industry Interest: Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: All patient-facing and in-hospital positions require COVID-19 vaccination. If hired into a covered role, as a condition of employment, you will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination, unless a medical or religious accommodation for exemption from the vaccination requirement is granted. This vaccination requirement does not apply in locations where it is prohibited by law to impose vaccination.
