Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), a comprehensive educational institution in Cleveland, Ohio, is dedicated to fostering positive, nurturing, and learning-focused environments for students. Tri-C is committed to academic advancement through transfer articulation agreements with four-year colleges and universities.

A Foundation of Opportunity

Founded in 1963, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) holds the distinction of being the oldest and largest public community college in Ohio. Serving Cuyahoga County and the surrounding communities, Tri-C plays a vital role in providing accessible and affordable education to a diverse population.

Diverse Academic Programs

Tri-C offers a wide range of programs designed to empower students at all stages of their educational journey. More than 1,000 credit courses are offered each semester in more than 200 career and technical programs. Students can explore their interests and find a program that puts them on the path to a bright future. Tri-C schedules on the semester basis, and offers over 1,000 courses in associate degree programs through traditional classroom settings as well as distance learning services and its flagship offering known as Cable College. Cable College has offered classes live through the Cleveland area cable companies since the early 1990s.

Workforce Training and Development

In addition to its academic offerings, Tri-C provides workforce training and professional development programs through its Corporate College, aimed at enhancing skills for employment or career advancement. Tri-C's Workforce Training provides both non-credit and credit training for individuals and businesses to assist individuals with skills leading to employment.

Community Engagement

The college is also committed to community engagement, offering a variety of affordable and convenient community programs for both adults and youth that fosters individual development and lifelong learning.

Locations and Accessibility

Cuyahoga Community College operates a multi-campus college district in Northeast Ohio. The four primary campuses include:

  • Eastern Campus: 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills, Ohio 44122
  • Metropolitan Campus: 2900 Community College Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44115
  • Western Campus: 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, Ohio 44130
  • Westshore Campus: 31001 Clemens Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145

An additional facility, the Brunswick University Center (BUC) at 3605 Center Road in Brunswick, Ohio 44212, operates as an extension of the Western Campus. The college also operates two Corporate College business training facilities: Corporate College East (CCE) at 4400 Richmond Road in Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44128, and Corporate College West (CCW) at 25425 Center Ridge Road in Westlake, Ohio 44145. Other locations include the Hospitality Management Center (HMC) at 180 Euclid Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio 44114, the KeyBank Advanced Technology Training Center (KeyBank ATTC) at 3409 Woodland Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio 44115, the Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC) at 2415 Woodland Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio 44115, and the Transportation Innovation Center at 24881 Rockwell Drive in Euclid, Ohio 44117.

Most Tri-C campuses and sites (except BUC) can be reached via RTA. Use the online trip-planning feature at RideRTA.com or call the RTAnswerline at 216-621-9500. Parking for HMC is available at the ProPark (JACK Casino) garage at 2047 Ontario St., between Prospect and Euclid avenues, on the east side of the street. When entering the garage, veer to the right and park on Level 6. Take the elevator to Level 1 and turn right out of the door.

A Legacy of Leadership

Tri-C has been guided by several presidents throughout its history, including Charles Chapman, and Dr. Alex Johnson. Michael A. Baston is the current president of Cuyahoga Community College.

Mascot

Tri-C's mascot is the Triceratops.
