UCF Health Student Health Services (SHS)

Accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, SHS offers a wide array of services to address students' health concerns. Locations and Accessibility
The main Health Center is conveniently located on the Main Campus. To further enhance accessibility, satellite clinics are strategically positioned at the Rosen, Health Sciences, and Downtown campuses. This distributed network ensures that students can access healthcare services regardless of their campus location. The clinic is located at the Lake Nona Health Sciences Campus in Suite 416.
Primary Care Services
UCF Health Student Health Services provides a wide array of primary care services by an Advanced Practice Provider Monday through Thursday and a Primary Care Physician on Friday to meet your health needs. Daily telehealth appointments are also available.
A significant benefit for students is that primary care consultation and evaluation by health providers are covered by the Health Fee, which is included in their tuition. This means that students can receive essential medical attention without incurring additional out-of-pocket expenses for these initial consultations. Additional services/materials are either billed to insurance or you can take advantage of our low self-pay prices.

Healthcare for College of Medicine Students
Specific protocols are in place to ensure unbiased care for medical students, especially those in the College of Medicine (COM).
Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
All UCF Health physicians (Student Health Services and/or Faculty Physician Practice) with faculty privileges in the College of Medicine (COM) who have influence (evaluation, grading) on medical student’s academic progress shall not be available for the care and treatment of health concerns, including psychiatric or psychological issues, that may avail COM students. medical records). This policy is in place to prevent any potential conflicts of interest and maintain the integrity of the evaluation process.
Clinical Rotation Sites
UCF College of Medicine students have access to healthcare services at their clinical rotation sites:
Naples Community Hospital (NCH): Students currently enrolled and assigned to a clinical rotation at Naples Community Hospital (NCH) can visit any of the NCH Immediate Care Centers or make an appointment with the NCH Business Health unit on campus. The closest Immediate Care facility is located at 801 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples, FL 239-624-8220. The Business Health unit can be reached at 239-624-8160.
