All degree-seeking international students are automatically considered for the John Baldwin Scholarship, a merit-based award that can provide up to $15,000 USD per academic year. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence and is a testament to BW's commitment to supporting international students in their pursuit of higher education.

The John Baldwin Scholarship is a merit award of up to $15,000USD per academic year. The expectation is that each student’s tuition, housing, meals, books, transportation, insurance, and living expenses will be covered for the duration of study.
Academic Merit Scholarships and Special Awards
Prospective first-year students can utilize the BW Scholarship Calculator to estimate the academic merit scholarships and special awards they may be eligible to receive. These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and other qualifications. Students who do not meet the criteria for an academic merit scholarship may still qualify for an award based on a holistic review of their application materials. Many students also qualify for outside scholarships.
The Tuition Exchange Scholarship
The Tuition Exchange Scholarship is a competitive award that covers full tuition. The annual deadline for the receipt of import candidate applications (the final TE application submitted by your home institution) is January 1. Applications received after January 1 will not typically be considered for the scholarship. Final scholarship decisions are made by the BW Tuition Exchange scholarship committee based on the number of available import slots, the student's academic credentials, the overall applicant pool, etc. The Tuition Exchange Scholarship is a competitive award, and BW cannot award scholarships to all eligible applicants.

Most students will also be awarded the President's Horizon Award for $1,845 per year. This award will support students in the most in-demand academic programs. The $1,845 President's Horizon Award is NOT included in your total estimate for scholarships and special awards listed above.
