Understanding the Cost of Attendance
Since ASU Campus Immersion is a public university, there are different costs for in-state students and out-of-state students. The sticker price at ASU Campus Immersion is $31,331 for in-state students in AZ, and $49,523 for out-of-state students. Types of Financial Aid
Scholarships are gift aid - free money that you don’t have to repay - and are usually based on merit or need. About 80% of all ASU students, including online students, receive some form of financial aid.
Merit-Based Scholarships: New American University Scholarships
Arizona State University awards merit scholarships, called New American University scholarships, to incoming first-year students with outstanding academic abilities. Student are only eligible for one New American University Scholarship. ASU merit scholarships are only available to first-time, first-year students entering ASU the semester directly after high school graduation. New American University scholarships are available to full-time, on-campus students registered for iCourses and ASU Sync. New American University scholarships are awarded based on information submitted in your application for admission. We do not recalculate academic information (e.g. ASU merit scholarships are awarded based on a combination of your high school GPA in core competencies, the number of those competencies you have completed or have in progress, and the degree program, residency and campus that you're admitted to. Your ACT or SAT scores are not required for award eligibility. ACT or SAT scores are not required for scholarship eligibility but providing them may lead to increased scholarship awards. If you are offered a New American University scholarship, any funds you have earned through RaiseMe micro-scholarships will be included in the total ASU New American University scholarship you are offered. citizen enrolling at ASU the semester immediately after high school graduation. The ASU Commitment Scholarship has the same renewal requirements as the New American University Scholarship. Need-Based Financial Aid: Pell Grants and FAFSA
The federal government awards Pell Grants to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need by filling out the FAFSA. Students with a bachelor’s or professional degree are not eligible. Pell Grants do not be repaid. If you receive a Pell Grant, the award amount should remain consistent at any college you gain admission to. We encourage all students applying for scholarships to submit a FAFSA. Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program
ASU Campus Immersion is in a state that participates in the Western Undergraduate Tuition Exchange program. That means if you are a resident of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming, you may be eligible for discounted tuition at ASU Campus Immersion. If you're an Arizona high school graduate but do not qualify as an Arizona resident, you may be eligible for a reduced nonresident tuition rate. Eligible students who participate in the Qualified Tuition Reduction (QTR) program should review details about how QTR impacts their institution merit award.
Outside Scholarships
Students can use outside scholarships to supplement their financial aid package at ASU Campus Immersion. Outside scholarships are awards offered by private and non-profit organizations separate from their college.
Application Requirements and Processes
Direct Admission
ASU offers direct admission to the university if you meet the requirements. There are no secrets, tips or tricks. There is no form, paper or code to submit for an application fee waiver.
Test-Blind Policy
Arizona State University is test-blind, which means that it does not allow applicants to submit their SAT or ACT scores. That means that they won’t consider these scores from any applicant.
