As tuition for this year is €1,152 per credit, the auditor rate for graduate courses is €576 per credit. Auditing a 4-credit course will cost 2,304€.

For course overloads above 18 credits, the tuition fees are calculated on a per-credit basis. For example, registering for 20 semester credits results in tuition fees of 20 x €1152 = €23,040. Similarly, registering for 22 semester credits will cost 22 x €1152 = €25,344.

For students living in AUP housing, a housing deposit is required for every student in the fall and is returned within sixty days following checkout (provided no damages). Consequently, Housing costs are based on 4 months of rent in the fall and 5 months of rent in the spring. Transfer students can opt into AUP Housing. Please note that US federal or private loans cannot be used toward security deposits which are returned to students within sixty days following checkout (provided no damages). Monthly rent for university housing for entering first year students varies. Some university housing options be more expensive than AUP’s estimated living expenses.

Payment Plans and Deadlines

Tuition for the fall semester must be received by 01 July and for the Spring semester by 15 December unless other arrangements have been made.

Summer Programs Financial Aid

federal loans may be able to use them for AUP's summer program. You will need to contact the Financial Aid Office at your home institution in order to determine your eligibility for federal student aid. citizens and permanent residents who qualify may apply for a private Sallie Mae Smart Option Loan for all legitimate educational and living expenses during a summer program at AUP. This option also applies to non-degree seeking students. Current AUP students who are receiving an institutional financial award are eligible to receive this award for summer classes.
