Adapting to the Changing Landscape

Whirlpool Corporation has adapted its summer internship program to meet the demands of the modern work environment. Despite the shift to a virtual format, Whirlpool Corp. remains committed to providing a valuable and engaging internship experience.

The Internship Experience

The internship curriculum is comprehensive and includes a four-day orientation, professional development sessions, networking opportunities with senior leaders, and virtual engagement events. These events include Workout Wednesday, cooking demonstrations, and game nights, designed to foster a sense of community and connection among interns. The summer internship also features a weekly newsletter called "Loads of News," detailed intern People Leader training, and peer buddy support.
