Exclusive Scholarship Opportunities

This is an exclusive scholarship available to WGU alums who are interested in pursuing a master's degree. For WGU grads who are considering pursuing another degree, now is the perfect time to apply and get started. This scholarship will be credited to your account at the rate of $625 per six-month term, renewable up to four terms. WGU provides exclusive scholarship opportunities for alumni seeking to further their education, making advanced degrees more accessible and affordable. This scholarship is one of many. Scholarship opportunities are made possible in part by the generous support of many companies, foundations, partner organizations, and individuals, including WGU alumni, faculty, and staff.

WGU Community College Partner Scholarship

WGU is accepting applications for the WGU Community College Partner Scholarship, a competitive scholarship valued at up to $2,000 per student (applied at the rate of $500 per six-month term for up to four terms). WGU will award the scholarships to new students enrolling in any of its more than 50 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business, information technology, teacher education, and health professions, including nursing. The scholarship is open to new WGU students who have been officially admitted to WGU. While multiple scholarships will be awarded, it is a competitive program, and scholarships will be awarded based on a candidate’s academic record, financial need, readiness for online study, and current competency, as well as other considerations.

Discounts on Continuing Education

WGU has partnered with Therapy Trainings to offer discounted continuing education for graduates working in behavioral health, counseling, social work, and related fields. Alumni receive a 15% discount on all courses by entering the code “WGU” at checkout.
