Part-Time Faculty Positions
WCC is consistently seeking qualified instructors in a variety of disciplines. Several postings indicate ongoing searches for part-time instructors in fields such as:

Specific Instructor Roles
- Auto Body Repair: WCC seeks an experienced collision repair professional to join the Auto Body Repair program as a part-time faculty member to teach ATT 114: Applied Transportation Welding.
- Mathematics: Potential course assignments range from Basic Math (Arithmetic) to Differential Equations and Linear Algebra.
- Chemistry: WCC is hiring part-time Chemistry Instructors to teach Chemistry courses from introductory Chemistry up to Organic Chemistry on Campus Only for the upcoming semester.
Support Staff Positions
In addition to faculty roles, WCC also offers various part-time support staff positions.
- Part Time Proctor: The Part time Proctor will greet students and administer computer, paper, and pencil examinations. The Part time Proctor will distribute test materials and describe to students the testing process.
- Part time Academic Success Center Lab Associate - Support Staff: The purpose of the Part time Academic Success Center Lab Associate - Support Staff is to assist with appropriate technology tools, help users navigate Academic Success Center and college resources, and provide detailed records of transactions and services.
- Part time Operational Database Specialist: The Part time Operational Database Specialist will work closely with the Director of Online Technologies to support the preparation, execution and reporting functions of online evaluations and processes at WCC.
- HVAC/R Department Laboratory Assistants: WCC is establishing a pool of qualified candidates to be considered when part-time and/or on-call laboratory assistants are needed to assist with credit courses in the HVAC/R Department. Needs may become available prior to or during each semester.
- Departmental Support: This position assists in the upkeep, maintenance, and running of the department’s laboratories, storage areas, and classrooms. This position is scheduled to work a maximum of twenty (20) hours per week.
Other Opportunities
- Program Development Manager (PDM) for Corporate Training: The Program Development Manager (PDM) for Corporate Training is directly responsible for working with employers and employed, under-employed and unemployed individuals to assist them in developing skills needed for gainful employment.
- WCC Collegiate Recovery Program: The WCC Collegiate Recovery Program provides group support, academic advocacy, social service/outreach activities, and recovery wellness activities for students in recovery and students who support recovery. This position is seasonal and will be evaluated at the end of each season(s). No continuing employment rights are inferred. The position is paid by a stipend that is divided into equal payments throughout the season(s).
Shift Availability
Several positions offer flexible scheduling options. The department operates with three shifts: 7A-3P, 3P-11P, and 11P-7A Monday through Sunday. Flexible scheduling around class and work schedules, whenever possible. There are immediate hiring opportunities for weekend day shifts and afternoon shifts, and weekday day shifts/afternoon shifts. Seeking applicants for the midnight shift (Thursday and Friday) for immediate hire.
