ACT Superscoring Policy
By and large, most colleges do not superscore the ACT. (Superscore means that the school takes your best section scores from all the test dates you submit, and then combines them into the best possible composite score). We weren't able to find the school's exact ACT policy, which most likely means that it does not Superscore.
ACT Writing Section
Currently, only the ACT has an optional essay section that all students can take. University of Nevada, Las Vegas considers the SAT Essay/ACT Writing section optional and may not include it as part of their admissions consideration.
Alternative Admission Pathways
If you don't meet the standard GPA or test score requirements, you can still gain admission by submitting an appeal, including a written statement, or enrolling as a non-degree-seeking student and then transferring to regular status. More info on alternate admission here.

Additional Requirements and Information
Every school requires an application with the bare essentials - high school transcript and GPA, application form, and other core information. Many schools, as explained above, also require SAT and ACT scores, as well as letters of recommendation, application essays, and interviews.
Application Fee and Process
You will be required to pay the application fee by credit or debit card. UNLV accepts both the Common Application or our UNLV Application for incoming first-year students only.
International Students
For general admission to UNLV, international students must provide proof of English proficiency. ACT/SAT test scores are not required for international students. Complete your application through the Rebel Success Hub. Incoming undergraduate international students must be admitted to UNLV and complete the financial aid application by the priority deadline to receive priority consideration for institutional grants and scholarships, and early financial aid estimates. The deadline is November 15 for first-year students and March 15 for transfer students. Once admitted, you will receive an invite from International Admissions to log into the International Student and Scholar Compliance Portal where you can upload to the required I-20 documents. Bank Letter should not be older than one year from the program start date, and must include: bank logo, date issued, account holder name(s), type of account, and must be stamped by a certified bank official. If you have previously attended high school/college, UNLV will need to receive your SEVIS record. Register and attend New Student Orientation.

Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarship consideration is automatic, but you must submit your UNLV application by February 1st to be considered. More on scholarships here. There is a separate application for the Honors College, and while there is no application deadline, it is recommended you apply by February 1st for priority selection and scholarship consideration.
