It's important to note that Success Pathways do not substitute for your advisor, degree planning tools, and degree audits. Once you enroll at UCF, Pegasus Path (degree planning) and myKnight Audit (degree audit) are the official tools at UCF. It's recommended to choose your major early and follow Success Pathways in consultation with your advisor.
Health Sciences B.S. Degree Requirements
Students who change programs and select this major must adhere to the most current catalog requirements. Courses listed under the GEP (General Education Program) and CPP (Common Program Prerequisites) categories are typically completed during the first 60 credit hours and may be taken at an institution within the Florida College System. A minimum grade of "C" (2.0) is required in each program prerequisite course, each core requirement course, and each restricted elective. Graduate programs may require a higher level of performance for admission. No transfer course will be accepted with a grade lower than a "C" (2.0). Students must achieve a minimum 2.5 overall GPA for graduation. Students who do not meet the minimum overall 2.5 GPA graduation requirement will be automatically moved to the General Health Studies, B.S. degree during their graduation term if they have met all other program requirements.
Transfer Student Resources and Considerations
For transfer students, the AA degree requires 24 credits of electives. It is recommended to select one of the Social Science Courses. Students may exceed the 60 credits of their AA following this Pathway.
