Scholarships and Tuition Relief
If I select TEF Scholarships as my designation, what type of impact will I achieve? TEF gifts dedicated to scholarships will offer deserving students tuition relief essential to access and excellence at Tarleton State. There is no more immediate opportunity to impact our students in life-changing ways.
Membership and Benefits
Yes. The full value of your annual, current fiscal year TAA gift counts towards your TEF benefits status. If you joined as an individual, a new gift of $25.00 or more will make you a TEF member at the Always, Texan level. If you joined as a joint member, you are immediately a TEF member at the Always, Texan level. Additional TEF donations will improve your benefit level. If I joined TAA as an annual member, will my donation count towards TEF status?
Premier Hospitality
What is premier hospitality? Premier hospitality is exclusive pre-game receptions for TEF members at the Grassburr Level and up. Such opportunities will occur prior to select home football and men’s basketball games and will consist of premier food, beverage, fraternity, and entertainment.
Apparel Locker
What is the apparel locker? TEF donors at the Texan True Level and up will have exclusive access to purchase elite Nike, Texan Excellence Fund apparel at a members-exclusive price. These elite items will only be available to TEF members and could include jackets, polos, pullovers, and more.

What is the 1899 Society? The 1899 Society benefit level honors the founding of Tarleton State and pays tribute to John Tarleton’s legacy of leadership through a series of networking events dedicated to business development, community impact, and the role the community plays in advancing Tarleton State’s service-based mission.
All-Access Parking Pass
What is the All-Access Parking Pass? The All-Access Parking Pass allows the TEF member to park in any lot at the Stephenville campus and never be ticketed. It is truly offers all-access to any parking location at Tarleton State University, Stephenville. It is good for one year and can be renewed in subsequent years with a TEF renewal at the General Rudder Level.
Tax Deductibility
Yes. However, there is a small fair market value associated with the benefits. The value of the benefits will be accounted for in your gift receipt. The balance of your gift will be fully deductible. Is my TEF gift Tax Deductible?
Directing Your TEF Gift
Can I direct my TEF gift to a select college or unit? Yes. TEF gifts can be designated to colleges, athletics, or approved units on campus. Your TEF benefit level will reflect the full value of your contribution.
Receiving Benefit Items
TEF donors will receive their benefit items within two weeks of their gift. When can I expect to receive my benefit items following my donation?

Athletics Designation
Is the 15% bookstore discount available online? Yes. The discount can be activated in-venue and online. If I designate Athletics, will my TEF gift count towards my Texan Club status? No. TEF gifts designated Athletics will support scholarships for student-athletes and strategic needs for Texan Athletics. They will not count towards Texan Club benefit status and associated assets such as tickets or parking.

What is Team Tarleton? Team Tarleton is TEF’s corporate sponsors program that provides unique visibility, branding, engagement, and alignment for Team Tarleton sponsors.
