In 2018, Investcorp completed the sale of Nobel Learning Communities to Spring Education Group. Nobel Learning Communities, founded in 1984, operated a network of over 190 private schools across 19 states in the United States at the time of its sale. Prior to its acquisition by Spring Education Group, Investcorp had acquired Nobel Learning Communities in 2015, which at the time consisted of 176 schools across 18 states.
Primavera Capital Group, an Asia-based investment firm, has played a significant role in the expansion of Spring Education Group. Primavera Capital Group closed acquisitions of Nobel Learning Communities and of certain assets of LePort Schools.
