Seabury Hall, a top-ranked school in Hawaii, offers a college preparatory education for students in grades 5-12. With an enrollment of 520 students and an average class size of 15, the school aims to inspire a high standard of academic achievement through a balanced program. This program is rooted in the school's spiritual values, nurturing respect and dignity of character. This article delves into the tuition costs associated with attending Seabury Hall, as well as the financial aid opportunities available to families.

Tuition and Associated Costs

The yearly tuition for Seabury Hall is $25,410, which includes lunch. Beyond the tuition fee, new students should also be aware of the $2,500 non-refundable enrollment deposit required upon completion of the Enrollment Contract.

Payment Plans

Seabury Hall offers payment plans to help families manage tuition costs. One option is a monthly payment plan operated by Blackbaud Tuition Management, an independent company. Under this plan, a monthly payment of $3,003 is automatically withdrawn from a designated bank account or credit card, starting April 20, 2026, and ending on December 20, 2026.

Financial Aid Program

Seabury Hall’s Financial Aid Program has a twofold purpose: to provide deserving students an opportunity for a high quality college preparatory education which might otherwise be unobtainable for them, and to provide the school with a well-qualified student body reflecting a broad social and economic mix. Parents who feel that they need financial assistance are encouraged to apply. Financial aid decisions are made independently from admission decisions and in no way affect a candidate’s chances for admission.

Eligibility and Application

Financial aid is exclusively awarded to families demonstrating financial need. This need is assessed by considering various factors, including income, net worth, standard living expenses, family size, and educational expenses. Families requiring financial assistance may apply for financial aid. To apply, prospective students should click “Yes” on the financial aid question when completing the online application for admission. Returning students who have received aid will automatically receive financial aid information.

Simon Scholarship Fund

The William E. and Carol G. Simon Scholarship Fund, established in 1994, offers another avenue for financial assistance. This fund provides opportunities to academically qualified but economically disadvantaged students who might not otherwise find it possible to pursue a superb college preparatory education at Seabury Hall. Simon Scholars may receive awards up to 50% of tuition cost annually in addition to financial aid offered by the school. William Edward Simon, an American businessman and philanthropist, served as the 63rd United States Secretary of the Treasury.

Proration for Financial Aid Recipients

Students receiving financial aid awards who choose either Plan 2 or Plan 3, will have their awards prorated among the number of payments due under their plan, and that amount will be deducted from the amount of each payment due.
