Red Bull Student Marketeers are part of a dynamic and empowered brand and product ambassador program. They are college students who understand Red Bull’s target group and are responsible for driving the brand image and product understanding on their campus and in their region. The goal of the Student Marketeer program is to reach new consumers, excite university students, increase sales and manage the Red Bull brand at their campus. This includes direct contact with consumers and customers, inviting product trial, in addition to working at Red Bull events to ensure an unforgettable brand experience for consumers. Student Marketeers value flexibility over a 9 to 5 job and love to work in a creative working atmosphere. As a Student Marketeer, you are able to build out your own hours.
During my first year at the University of Arkansas, I saw the iconic Red Bull Mini Cooper on my campus and Student Marketeers handing out a variety of Red Bulls to students walking by. What's a Student Marketeer, you ask? Student Marketeers are college students who invite product trial, establish Red Bull consumption in all occasions, support sales teams, and are brand ambassadors.
Core Responsibilities of a Student Marketeer
The role of a Red Bull Student Marketeer is multifaceted, encompassing brand ambassadorship, sales expertise, and executional excellence. These responsibilities are designed to integrate the Red Bull brand into the daily lives of university students and the broader community.
Being a Brand & Product Ambassador
Student Marketeers are the face of Red Bull on campus. They live and breathe the brand personality traits and company values, representing the brand in a premium way through everyday interactions with consumers or customers. This involves:

- Representing the Brand: Embodying the brand's personality and values in all interactions.
- Growing the User Base: Inviting positive trial and awareness of Red Bull through product sampling to consumers at the right place and right time, competently answering any questions from consumers.
- Executing Campus Plans: Building and executing a tailored and innovative campus plan which engages students and brings the brand to life at university.
- Building Networks: Creating a strong network, establishing and maintaining relationships with key local individuals.

Sales Expertise
Student Marketeers play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring product availability. This includes:
- Building Relationships: Building relationships with local sales account managers and ensure Red Bull is available and visible in outlet.
- Expanding Distribution: Collaborating with sales to open new distribution points for Red Bull within your university campus and beyond. Student Marketeers are also tasked with building distribution, ensuring visibility, and collecting orders for the sales team. By checking in on local current and potential accounts in their area, Student Marketeers are aiding the sales team by providing feedback on the account's current status and their needs.
- Leveraging Assets: Leveraging relevant assets from the world of Red Bull in order to keep Red Bull top of mind in sales accounts.
- Ensuring Store Standards: Ensuring perfect execution of defined store standards.
Executional Excellence
Delivering high-quality results in all activities is a key expectation. This involves:
