Pacific Health Care: Hands-On Training in Oregon

Located in Central Point, Oregon, Pacific Health Care is an Oregon State Board of Nursing approved training facility. It boasts five RN primary instructors with decades of experience and varied backgrounds (ICU, Labor and Delivery, ER, etc.) that will provide hands on training and tutoring. Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program

The CNA curriculum is CA State approved and is designed to equip students with essential nursing skills, principles of care, and the knowledge needed for effective resident and patient care in various Healthcare settings. The CNA program is for 22 classdays with 8 days of theory lectures and 14 days of clinical training. After completing the required hours and passing of the School finals for both Wriitten and Skills, students will be eligible to take the CA State Competency Exam, leading to a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

Home Health Aide (HHA) Program

The Home Health Aide Program is designed specifically to equip CNAs with the essential knowledge and skills needed to provide personal assistance and basic nursing care in patients' homes. The HHA program includes theory lecture and clinical training in long-term care. After completing the required hours and passing the HHA final test, CNAs will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), enabling to work in Home Health Agencies, Hospice, and various healthcare settings. Plus 24 CEU credit hours will be gained toward the CNA license renewal.

Continuing Education Units (CEU)

Continuing Education is essential for both CNAs and HHAs to maintain or renew their licenses. CNAs need a total of 48 CEU credit hours, while HHAs need a total of 24 CEU credit hours. For CNA renewal, it is recommended that CNAs earn 24 CEU credit hours per year, with a minimum of 12 CEU credit hours completed within the 1st year. (For HHA renewal, it is required to have 12 CEU credit hours per year). Any remaining CEU credit hours should be fulfilled within the 2nd or last year before the CNA license expires. And all CNA and HHA license renewals are submitted in the CDPH online submission portal. CEU in-person classes are offered every month.

Restorative Nursing Program (RNP)

The Restorative Nursing Program is an advanced certification course designed specifically for CNAs interested in Restorative Care.

Streamlined CNA Programs

Pacific Health Education in Fresno offers a streamlined Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program that prepares students for the healthcare field in just 22 days. With three flexible scheduling options, the program caters to a variety of student needs. The Day Program runs Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM, while the Evening Program operates during the same days but from 4PM to 8PM.

Pacific Medical Training offers certification courses for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and basic life support (BLS). The total cost of the CNA program in Fresno is $1,100, which is a limited-time offer. This fee does not include additional costs such as books, uniforms, board exam fees, malpractice insurance, and medical tests. A structured payment plan is available, which includes a $250 non-refundable registration fee, payments during clinical weeks, and a final payment upon graduation.
