  • Microfilms: A collection of materials preserved on microfilm, providing access to historical documents and publications.

  • PA Exam Prep: An ideal study aid for the PANCE and PANRE, specifically written for Physician Assistants by PA faculty.
  • Evidence-Based Health Care Databases: A collection of several evidenced-based health care databases. Note: Full text can only be accessed by one user at a time.
  • PubMed: Comprising more than 27 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
  • CINAHL: Provides full text for more than 600 of the 3,000 current nursing and allied health journals and other medical publications indexed in CINAHL.
  • ProQuest Health Databases: Enables simultaneous searching across four ProQuest Health databases.
  • General Databases: Recommended for finding scholarly articles in most disciplines.
  • Race Relations Abstracts: This free research database offers essential content covering important issues related to race in society today.
  • Flipster: A next-generation digital newsstand that allows people to browse digital versions of the latest issues of popular magazines.
  • Gale Case Studies: Collection charts the gay rights movement in America, showing the civil rights codified into law in the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as the inequalities that still exist today. All titles in this collection have been assigned one or more title-level subjects relating to their scope, and are further divided into six subcollections, whose areas of focus constitute Marriage and Family, Employment Discrimination, Military Service, AIDS and Health Care, and Public Spaces and Accommodations.
  • Science Magazine: Full text coverage from 1997 to present. Science has been at the center of important scientific discovery since its founding in 1880-with seed money from Thomas Edison.
  • PressReader: A leading digital platform providing unlimited access to thousands of top newspapers and magazines from around the world in over 60 languages. It offers full-color, full-page replicas of publications, which can be read on mobile devices, tablets, or computers. Made possible with a generous contribution by the Leon Hess School of Business.

Access and Availability

Library online services are available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, and include research guides customized by subject area that can be helpful in jump-starting any project. The building is open seven days a week during the regular semester (until midnight Sunday-Thursday).

Serving our faculty and students with resource materials needed to support both curriculum and research needs, the Guggenheim Memorial Library is the center of learning and research. The Library provides robust access to a diverse collection of more than 400,000 monographs, e-Books, print journals, e-Journals (full text), media titles, microfilms, reference materials, and special collections, including government documents, the New Jersey Collection, the Mumford Collection, and the Library Archives.
