Current Job Openings and Opportunities

MSU offers a variety of job openings across different departments and fields. Here are a few examples of the types of positions available:

Extension Agents: Agriculture, Natural Resources, Family, Health, and Wellness

Extension agents play a vital role in community outreach and education. The Family, Health, and Wellness (FHW) Extension agent provides leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs focused on early childhood education, family financial management, health, food safety, and nutrition. Knowledge of FHW program areas is required. The Agriculture and Natural Resource (ANR) Extension Agent provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive education program focused on ANR. Specifically, the Extension Agent will work closely with county citizens, stakeholders and other agencies to provide leadership focused on our natural resources and the agricultural commodities produced in the county including forestry, livestock, poultry, and commercial vegetable production.

Support Staff: Accountants, Specialists, and Coordinators

Various support roles are essential to the smooth functioning of MSU. The Accounts Receivable Accountant provides accounting support within the Controller and Treasurer’s Office, ensuring accurate and timely processing of student accounts receivables. The Compliance Specialist works in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance program in an assigned focus area: laws and regulations affecting campus safety, including the Clery Act, Stop Campus Hazing Act, Drug Free Schools Act, OSHA, as well as various state and federal laws affecting university youth programs. The Program Coordinator supports the implementation and tracking of specific project activities and deliverables for a large 5-year grant. Primary responsibilities include (a) managing logistics, (b) maintaining a schedule for all project deadlines, (c) assisting with the implementation of an existing project work plan, (d) copy-editing and formatting written products, and (e) collecting and compiling program evaluation and other relevant data.

Faculty Positions

MSU's Department of Technology, Leadership, & Design offers non-tenure track, nine-month faculty positions, providing opportunities for educators to contribute to the university's academic mission.

Athletic Training Staff

Types of Data Collected

This includes data collected directly from individuals, automatically during usage of services, and from other sources. Additionally, if your employer (our Customer) uses our time and attendance product, we may collect precise geolocation data (e.g., latitude and longitude coordinates) at the time of clock-in or clock-out.

MSU and its service providers use various technologies, including cookies, web beacons, and HTML Storage Objects, to collect information about device usage and interactions with services. We and our service providers may use a variety of technologies to collect information about your device and use of our Services as discussed immediately above.
