From the roar of the crowd at Spartan Stadium to the echoes of "Go Green! Go White!", being part of the Spartan Nation on game day is an unforgettable experience. This guide provides comprehensive information on how to obtain tickets, premium seating options, parking, and everything you need to know to make the most of your MSU football experience.

A Legacy of Spartan Football

Born in 1896 in East Lansing, Michigan, Michigan State Spartans football blends blue-collar toughness with big-stage results. The program claims six national championships and a stack of Big Ten titles, highlighted by crown-winning seasons under Duffy Daugherty and the title runs of 2013 and 2015. Spartan fans still savor Rose Bowl victories from 1954, 1956 and 1988, plus the 2014 triumph over Stanford, and the dramatic 2015 Cotton Bowl comeback. Icons like Bubba Smith, Kirk Cousins and coach Mark Dantonio left marks that still echo on fall Saturdays.

Spartan Stadium packs 75,000-plus into a roaring bowl where the Spartan Marching Band, Zeke the Wonderdog and nonstop Go Green! Go White! chants fuel the edge.

Parking Information

A season parking pass for MSU Football home games is one of the many benefits available to Spartan Fund donors who provide opportunities in the classroom, in competition, and in the community for nearly 700 student-athletes.

Requests (with payment) for football parking must be made by May 1, 2026. Request can be made through the digital season ticket renewal form or by calling the Spartan Ticket Office at (517) 355-1610.

Individuals requesting a parking pass (not guaranteed) will select their parking location during the online football parking selection process taking place in early June. Selection will be conducted in Spartan Fund priority order, first determined by annual Spartan Fund donor level and then Spartan Points.

Donor Parking Levels & Locations:

The following provides a guide on minimum Spartan Fund donor level required to select a parking pass in the corresponding parking lot for the 2026 season. Beginning in 2026, donor parking location will be based on annual giving level followed by Spartan Points. You may choose to have all season parking passes in the top lot for which you qualify as long as inventory exists.

  • Directors Club Level+ | \$5,000+
  • Honorary Coaches Club+ | \$2,000+

*Season parking passes are available to football season ticket members or Spartan Fund donors.

Online Parking Selection

The online parking selection will provide donors the ability to select their own parking lot assignment and earlier knowledge of their parking location prior to the season. The selection will take place in early June to allow for parking passes to be distributed with season tickets. Appointment times will be determined in Spartan Fund donor priority order, first by Spartan Fund donor level, then by Spartan Points within each level - meaning Directors Club level donors will select their parking lot assignment prior to Honorary Coaches donors, Honorary Coaches donors prior to Captains Club donors, and so on.

Season Parking Pass Allocation:

Season long parking passes are now made available based on the number of season tickets you purchase.

  • 1-4 season tickets = 1 season parking pass
  • 5-8 season tickets = 2 season parking passes
  • 9-12 season tickets = 3 parking passes

The ability to add an additional parking pass increases by one (1) for every fifth season ticket purchased.

Anyone who wishes to purchase a season parking pass MUST BE A SEASON TICKET MEMBER. All Spartan Fund donors who are not season ticket members will have the ability to purchase single game parking following the same ticket model referenced above - 1 for every 4 (or less) ratio.

Parking Zones:

  • Zone 1 (Lot 124): Athlos Society Members
  • Zone 2 (Lots 62, 61SV): Donors Eligible for Zone 1 Directors Club | \$5,000
  • Zone 3 (Lots 79, 67): Donors Eligible for Zones 1-2 Honorary Coaches Club | \$2,000
  • Zone 4 (Lots 38/50, 39/40, 63/126): Donors Eligible for Zones 1-3 Captains Club | \$1,000
  • Zone 5 (Lots 59, 41, Ramp 7, Ramp 2): All Spartan Fund Donor Levels

Personalized Parking Locations

Individual parking locations can be reserved in lots 62, 79, and 124 by donors who achieve either the Champions Circle (\$25,000) or Ambassador (\$50,000) annual donor levels within Spartan Fund. These reserved parking locations are assigned in Spartan Points priority order and include a named sign at the location selected. Donors with \$1M in lifetime giving to Athletics may request two (2) personalized signs. Spaces in 62, 79, and 124 that are not signed on gameday are available to individuals with a qualifying parking pass for the corresponding lot on a first-come, first-serve basis once lots open.

Recreational Vehicle (RV) Parking

Donors at or above the Directors Club (\$5,000 annually) may request a parking pass (\$60/game) for a RV under 32 feet in Lot 63. Parking for RVs longer than 32 feet will be located in the public parking area Lot 97 located off Service Road. The public parking lots are on a pay-per-game basis (no season pass is available).
