Spanning 27,000 square feet, the MERI facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources designed to foster an immersive and effective learning environment. The institute houses seven research and training suites, providing ample space for conducting experiments, developing new medical devices, and refining surgical techniques. Three anatomical teaching laboratories offer medical professionals and students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of human anatomy through dissection and observation.
The facility also boasts a high-tech, expandable auditorium with a seating capacity of 85 people, providing a great advantage for medical education and training, as it can accommodate large groups for lectures, presentations, and other educational events. This enables a more immersive learning experience and facilitates the exchange of ideas and knowledge among medical professionals and students. A multi-disciplinary room that seats up to 65 people, offers a versatile space for education and training. This room can be used for a variety of purposes such as team-based learning, simulations, and small-group sessions. This system offers large volume 3D imaging capabilities.
MERI's strategic location in the Memphis medical district provides easy access to a variety of healthcare resources and expertise, while also being conveniently close to major highways and downtown Memphis.
