Mekeel Christian Academy: Tuition and Financial Assistance
As an independent Christian school, Mekeel is made possible only by the shared sacrifice of families (in the form of tuition and gifts), of faculty and staff (in the form of substantially lower salaries), and by the gifts of those who appreciate the impact of a Christian education. While a few area churches contribute to our needs, unlike church-sponsored schools, we have no host congregation to underwrite any of our expenses or make up budget shortages. This makes the school dependent upon the timely payment of tuition by parents in order for MCA to meet its own commitments to its staff and vendors.
Tuition Payment Options
There are two options available for making tuition payments at Mekeel. Full payment is required before the first day of school unless the family wishes to set up a payment plan that runs throughout the school year. Families must use FACTS Management, our tuition management company, to process tuition payment plans. Once the account is set up, the Business Office will activate the account for payments as specified on your Tuition and Fees Summary and according to the details you have set up in FACTS.
Tuition Assistance
Mekeel Christian Academy offers tuition assistance to families who, without such assistance, would be unable to send their children here. The school do their best to work with families who are committed to giving their children a Christian education. However, no family receives full tuition assistance. MCA uses a third party service to process tuition assistance applications. Parents complete an application on line, and are then responsible to forward tax records along with an application fee. The third party then makes a recommendation based on each family’s demonstrated need.
