Transfer Students: Key Considerations

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required in a minimum of 30 semester (45 quarter) units of transferable college work.
A maximum of 60 semester hours from two-year college(s) is transferable to the University.
Must complete Business Calculus or Calculus 1 in class with a B grade or higher to be considered for admission. This is a mandatory requirement.
We recommend students complete at least 12 units per semester in transferable coursework to be eligible for admission.
Transfer students applying to the College of Business Administration must complete Business Calculus with a minimum grade of B prior to applying. Likewise, some other majors require that prerequisite courses be completed prior to transferring.

Additional Program Requirements

Business applicants must complete a year of study in each of the following: elementary algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra/trigonometry.
Applicants to these programs should complete four years of mathematics and one year each of biology, chemistry, and physics.
Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.3 for post-baccalaureate program.
A college level pre-calculus course is required for post-baccalaureate program.
A cumulative GPA of 3.3 must be maintained to continue in the post-baccalaureate program.
