Diverse Internship Opportunities
Lockheed Martin offers a range of internships tailored to different interests and skill sets. Here are a few examples:
Quality Engineering
This internship provides an opportunity to apply analytical engineering skills in the Quality Engineering (Wing Assembly) or Quality Engineering (Final Assembly) departments. Interns will be involved in big data processing, identifying trends, uncovering root causes, and developing solutions to reduce rework hours and defects, ultimately contributing to cost reduction. The role may also involve conducting lab experiments to obtain statistical data on potential solutions.
Quality Technology
In the Quality Technology internship, interns will work within the Data Science and Applications Engineering disciplines, developing neural networks for automated inspection, defect identification, and defect classification.
Production Continuous Improvement
As a production continuous improvement intern, you will be involved in quality and continuous improvement efforts to support work program quality projects, including the Wing and Sub-Assembly build areas.
Software Engineering Internships
Lockheed Martin also offers Software Engineering Internships, providing opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to solving the world’s most difficult challenges. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle; design, code, test, integration, verification and field integration support, facilitated by an Agile software development work flow.
