Istation Student Login Guide: Accessing Engaging Learning Experiences

Istation is an innovative educational program designed to immerse students in interactive reading, math, and Spanish learning environments. This guide provides comprehensive information on how students can log in and access Istation, along with essential details for administrators and educators.

What is Istation?

Istation's innovative reading, math, and Spanish programs immerse students in an engaging and interactive environment and inspire them to learn. Additionally, administrators and educators can use Istation to easily track the progress of their students, schools, and classrooms. Istation is used for reading interventions in Kindergarten - Grade 8 and for math interventions in Grades 7 - 8.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Istation supports Single Sign-On for both students and teachers, streamlining the login process. By default, when a student sign-on is detected, it will launch the runtime/app and log them in.

For Customers Not Using Single Sign-On

For those not using SSO, the domain will need to be set on each device.

Initial Setup and Configuration

Campus Codes Verification

Prior to processing an import job, it is important to verify campus codes in Istation. Verification or entering of campus codes can be done by selecting the Administration tab. Next, select Import & Roster Management and then Campus Codes in the left menu.

Network Considerations

Istation employs a proprietary communication protocol designed to minimize bandwidth usage when simultaneously run by multiple students in a school.

The domains below are used in the delivery of Istation's product. When placing a New Content Filter Rule, please place Istation above existing rules.

Students will be associated to the student’s ID number.

Roster Management

Teacher/Student/Classroom Information

This file includes Teacher/Student/Classroom Information. This import will create teacher and student accounts and will place students into their assigned classes. Prior to processing an import job, it is important to verify campus codes in Istation. Verification or entering of campus codes can be done by selecting the Administration tab. Next, select Import & Roster Management and then Campus Codes in the left menu.
