Suzanne Erickson, dean of the College of Business & Mass Communication at Brenau, stated that the faculty focuses on teaching and continuously evaluates the curriculum to meet marketplace needs. She noted that most Brenau MBA students are working professionals who attend part-time, benefiting from the flexibility of online learning. The Brenau MBA program offers 13 concentrations, including project management, business analytics, and health care management. Erickson emphasized the accessibility and responsiveness of online business instructors, as well as their use of diverse learning technologies.

Erickson noted that roughly half of Brenau's MBA students seek career advancement, while another 30 percent pursue a career change.

Academic Strengths and Focus

Brenau University offers a range of programs, with particular strengths in education, business, and healthcare. The College of Education offers an Educational Specialist degree in addition to undergraduate programs and is exploring the possibility of adding a doctoral program. Brenau currently offers doctorates in nursing practice, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.

Williams emphasized that Brenau provides high-quality, rigorous courses geared toward helping students master best practices and current information in their chosen fields. Smaller classes allow instructors to provide more individual feedback and facilitate student interaction.
