Hartford HealthCare and Quinnipiac University have partnered to offer eligible colleagues the opportunity to pursue affordable degrees and upskilling opportunities with significant savings. The New Careers in Nursing (NCN) Program welcomes qualified applicants to work at Hartford HealthCare while pursuing a highly discounted BSN degree through Quinnipiac’s School of Nursing.

Important Information for Hartford HealthCare Employees at Quinnipiac University:

  • Eligibility: Participating Employees who are new students and self-identify as a Hartford HealthCare employee in the University’s student portal (or through any other method of verification the University may require) after the Agreement effective date will receive the benefits set forth below, so long as the Agreement is in effect and has not been terminated.
  • Exclusions: The Benefits will apply to Participating Employees who are receiving the standard University tuition rate and cannot be combined with any University offer or promotion and excludes the MBA-CB program and other competency-based programs the University may offer and any other specific program exclusions set forth in the Academic Catalog.
  • Course Limits:
    • Participating Employees may take up to eight (8) courses subject to course availability and University’s policy for a total tuition cap of $5,250 per Calendar Year (defined as January 1st through December 31st).
    • Participating Employees may take up to five (5) courses within any one Calendar Year, for a total tuition cap of $5,250 per Calendar Year.
    • Participating Employees may take up to three (3) courses within any one Calendar Year, for a total tuition cap of $5,250 per Calendar Year.
  • Tuition Cap: Participating Employees may take up to eight (8) courses subject to course availability and University’s policy for a total tuition cap of $5,250 per Calendar Year (defined as January 1st through December 31st).
  • Additional Charges: Taking more courses than the maximum allotted amount for each tuition cap in a Calendar Year will result in additional tuition charges.
  • Termination of Agreement: If the Agreement is terminated Benefits will immediately cease and will no longer be available to Participating Employees.

Charter Oak State College

Charter Oak State College, Connecticut’s state public online College, also partners with Hartford HealthCare to provide exclusive benefits and affordable online programs tailored for working adults, especially those seeking to advance their careers in healthcare.

Tuition Assistance Program Details
