As you search through available opportunities, please keep in mind that the posting of an opportunity does not indicate endorsement or recommendation of the employers or opportunities by the university. The university reviews employer requests to post jobs, but does not perform an in-depth review of every job posting or otherwise make any representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the validity, accuracy, or legitimacy of any of the posted positions. Student Protection
For a student's privacy and protection when applying to a job online, it is advisable that they do not provide any unnecessary personal information to the prospective employer, provide credit card or bank information, or perform any type of monetary transaction. Handshake also allows you to flag fraudulent employers. As a job seeker, you have certain rights and responsibilities of which you should be aware.
Resources at The Ohio State University
The Ohio State University Career Services Committee closely follows guidelines for professional conduct set forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). As a student enrolled at Columbus campus, you are encouraged to use resources provided by Student Legal Services when considering internship and job offers and for other employment-related legal matters. A student must be degree-seeking at Ohio State to be eligible. Services are only available during the academic year in which the participation fee has been paid.
