Applications Support Intern
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting options traders using Group One's internally developed trading software. You'll gain exposure to a system that includes an information-dense user interface, a high-throughput, low-latency parallel computational core, server components, and interfaces to exchanges, market data sources, and execution systems.
Business Intelligence/Data Analyst Intern
As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll be involved in a variety of programming, data analysis, and reporting projects. Your responsibilities will include adding new features or troubleshooting SQL code and SSRS reports, which are used by all functional groups within Group One, including traders, risk managers, operations, and compliance.
Quantitative Analyst Intern
The primary focus of this internship is quantitative research and analysis. You'll work within a small team to develop hypotheses and backtest your ideas, receiving continuous feedback from quantitative developers and the Trading Strategy team. You'll present your findings to senior managers and traders. Trading Analyst Intern
As a Trading Analyst Intern, you'll learn the basics of equity options trading and gain an in-depth understanding of Group One's business. Interns who successfully complete the program may have the opportunity to interview for a Trading Analyst position. The goal is for you to be comfortable with option theory, trading techniques, and trade execution by the end of the program.

Benefits of a Group One Internship
Group One Trading offers team members health coverage beginning the first of the month following hire date. If elected, Group One covers a portion of the monthly premiums for medical, dental and vision insurance, while the team member pays the remainder with pre-tax dollars. Medical coverage is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield with a choice of three plans, including a no-deductible plan. Dental and vision coverage are provided by MetLife.
Group One also offers team members life insurance and AD&D provided by MetLife, with the option to purchase additional coverage.
