Building your Gold Award Project Proposal and writing your Gold Award Final Report is easy through GoGold. GoGold will guide you along each of the seven project steps and auto-save your progress. In addition to the project proposal and final report, supplemental forms may be required.

  2. Attend a Mandatory GSSEM Gold Award Training Session or Award Orientation: These sessions provide valuable information about the Gold Award process and requirements.

The Gold Award mentor’s job is to help you be successful by making sure you are in compliance with Gold Award standards as well as council guidelines and deadlines. You must work with and receive approval from a Gold Award mentor before your project proposal will be eligible to be reviewed by the Gold Award Review Board.
  4. Submit a Gold Award Project Proposal: Girl Scouts must submit their Gold Award Project Proposal no later than July 1 of the year they graduate 12th grade (i.e. the summer after graduating high school).
  5. Complete Your Gold Award Project: Lead your team and carry out your plan.
  6. Submit a Final Report: They must complete their Gold Award projects and submit their final report no later than September 30 of that same year (i.e. the fall after graduating high school).
