MPOWER Financing Global Citizen Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time degree program at a school MPOWER supports.
- Comply with all requirements set forth in the Terms and Conditions.
Application Process
The application process for the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship involves:
- Submitting an online entry form during the Scholarship Period.
- Responding to an essay question, which will be judged based on quality.
- Agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship.
Selection Process
MPOWER will review all applicable and valid Entries and select finalists based on the selection criteria. A panel of three judges will then review the finalists’ applications and select the winners. MPOWER reserves the right to conduct interviews and/or request additional information from any Entrants related to their Entry prior to any decision. The Judges’ decision is final and binding.

Scholarship Award
- The first-place winner will be awarded an $8,000 MPOWER Scholarship to be applied to tuition, fees, or expenses at the winner’s school of attendance.
- Two additional winners will be awarded a US$2,000 scholarship and US$1,000 scholarship.
Terms and Conditions
- The Scholarship ends on January 31, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST.
- Only entries submitted and received during the Scholarship Period will be eligible.
- Only one entry per scholarship.
- Employees of MPOWER Financing, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and those of any agent, vendor, or supplier of MPOWER are not eligible.
- The actual student must participate in the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship.
- Winners are solely responsible for the payment of any applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with their acceptance and receipt of any Prize.
University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Global Citizen Scholarship
The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) also offers a Global Citizen Scholarship to support its students. The following outlines the requirements and conditions specific to the UCA Global Citizen Scholarship:
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the UCA Global Citizen Scholarship, recipients must:
- Enroll in a minimum of 12 UCA Undergraduate or 9 Graduate credit hours in both the fall and spring semesters.
Scholarship Award
- Recipients will receive an award not to exceed 12 credit hours (undergraduate) or 9 credit hours (graduate) for the fall and spring semesters plus the International Administration Fee.
- Awards will be applied to the recipients’ university account each semester after verification of enrollment is completed.
- Recipients enrolling in more credit hours will be responsible for any additional costs.
- Only Fall and Spring semesters are covered by the scholarship.
Additional Requirements
- Submit 2 current letters supporting your request for scholarship funds.
- At least 1 of the letters must be from a UCA professor that can speak to your academic performance.

General Terms and Conditions
Several general terms and conditions apply to the Global Citizen Scholarship, regardless of the specific organization or institution offering it. These include:
- MPOWER Financing is both the official timekeeper and final arbiter of eligibility for each Scholarship.
- Any Entry that does not comply with the Terms and Conditions is void.
- All Entries become the property of MPOWER and will not be acknowledged or returned.
- Entry constitutes permission to use entrant’s university name, state, country of origin, and/or essay question response for advertising, promotion, and publicity purposes.
- Any Entry found to contain erroneous, expired, canceled, fraudulent, or fake information is void.
- A Prize will only be awarded to the person submitting the Entry and may not be sold, assigned, or otherwise transferred.
- Winners will be notified within one month of the submission deadline.
- All decisions (including but not limited to eligibility determinations) will be final and binding and are not subject to challenge or appeal.
- Prize awards are subject to MPOWER’s verification of winners’ eligibility.
- All winners will be required to submit a completed and signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability & Publicity Release.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
