Requirements:
- A strong foundation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a solid grasp of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals
- Proficiency in transformer-based architectures and working knowledge of large language models (LLMs), with applied experience in leveraging open-source LLMs strongly preferred
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, with expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch and LangChain

General Requirements
In addition to the specific requirements for each track, there are some general requirements that all Florida Blue interns must meet:
- Currently enrolled in computer science, information technology, mathematics, psychology, or related degree program as a Graduate student pursuing a Master's degree at an accredited college/university in May 2026
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better during the duration of the internship
- Must be able to commit to working at least 30 hours a week
- Basic PC skills required including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Basic programming knowledge, JavaScript/HTML/CSS or other Object Oriented programming experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team and collaboration-oriented
- Work under minimal supervision and adapt to a dynamic, changing environment
- Must be a creative and innovative thinker
