Devale Ellis: From Football Field to Acting Career
Devale Ellis is an American actor and former American football wide receiver, singer and rapper. He was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Hofstra. Ellis began acting early and in 2013 he was in the movie “Full Circle” as character Tommy. In 2016 he gave a stellar performance in “A Piece of Me” with his wife Khadeen. In 2015 D. Ellis procured a contract with Tyler Perry studios and began starring as Zac Taylor in the BET comedy-drama series, Sistas and in its spin-off, Zatima.

Avi Arad: The Architect of Marvel's Cinematic Universe
Avi Arad, born on April 18, 1948, is an Israeli-American businessman and film producer. He became a prominent business figure as the CEO of the company Toy Biz in the 1990s. He then proceeded to become the chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment and founded Marvel Studios. In 2006, he resigned from his Marvel positions and formed his own production company, Arad Productions. He is the CEO and founder of Marvel Studios.
Frank G. Zarb
Former NASDAQ chairman Frank G. Zarb, for whom Hofstra's business school is named, was CEO of the NASDAQ stock exchange during the dot-com boom of the late 1990's. He served five presidents - Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush and Clinton, most notably as "energy czar" for President Ford.

Maryanne Trump Barry: A Distinguished Jurist
Maryanne Trump Barry was an American attorney and United States federal judge. She became an assistant United States attorney in 1974 and was first appointed to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. In 1999, she was appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit by President Bill Clinton. She enrolled in Hofstra University and graduated with Juris Doctor.
