Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an R-ATP eligible major at one of Delta's affiliate institutions.
- Open to Juniors and Seniors based on academic credit.
- Must hold, at minimum, a Private Pilot certificate and must have completed at least one Part-141 flight course at the affiliate institution.
- Must hold a First Class Medical (it is acceptable if privileges have lapsed to second or third class).
Propel Affiliate Organization Path
This path requires a nomination from one of Delta's six affiliate organizations.
Propel Scholarship Path
This path is for a select number of Propel referrals from Delta affiliate organizations, with a focus on candidates from diverse backgrounds. Student pilots will complete Private, Instrument, Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certifications at a Delta authorized flight school.

Eligibility Requirements:

Company Pilot Career Path
This path is designed for current Delta employees who wish to transition their careers and become pilots.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Completion of 2 years (24 total months) as an active Delta Air Lines employee, and been on active status within past six months.
- Company applicants are also required to provide letters of recommendation from a leader and a peer.
- All candidates in the Company Pilot Career Path will be required to meet the qualification and testing aspects of Delta’s current pilot hiring.
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Career Path
This path applies to CFIs at Propel’s affiliate flight schools: ATP, Academy of Aviation, US Aviation Academy, and Superior Flight School.
General Requirements for Propel Program Participants
- Pilots participating in Propel will be expected to build their flight hours by instructing at the university where they trained.
- Successful Propel pilots will be required to meet all General, Performance, and Professionalism Eligibility Requirements contained in Endeavor’s Career Advance Program (CAP) before transitioning to Delta.

Women in Aviation International (WAI) Scholarships
Delta Air Lines partners with Women in Aviation International (WAI) to offer scholarships specifically for women pursuing careers in aviation. These scholarships aim to support women's advancement in the industry.
General WAI Scholarship Application Requirements
Applications for the 2026 general WAI scholarship program are open from July 15 - October 15, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a current WAI member (excluding Junior Members ages 5-15) through March 30, 2026, or join as a new member by October 1, 2025.
- Applications must be submitted to WAI by October 15, 2025, and winners will be notified by December 15, 2025.

- If applying for a flight training scholarship, please include copies of your pilot and medical certificates and the last three pages of your pilot logbook. This is not necessary for other types of scholarships.

Delta Air Lines Pilot Scholarship

Award:
