Other Library Resources

Angela Jones began her library career as a teenager, shelving books at the Clark County Library. She joined the Dayton Metro Library in 2002 and has served in various capacities since then, most recently as an Information Services Librarian at the Main Library. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies (Art History emphasis) from Wright State University and received her MLIS from Kent State in 2009. After earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio State University, Millsop began working part time at the Vandalia Branch Library and a bookstore in 2014, not assuming libraries would be her career path. Turns out, she loved connecting patrons to the information they needed, and over the next 10 years, she worked at various locations of Dayton Metro Library in various roles. She worked with kids and teens for several years, then became an Information Services Librarian and completed her MLIS from Indiana University in 2024. Now, she is happy to once again work with the community in Vandalia. Social stories are helpful resources for anyone on their first trip to a new location, but especially for those with autism or social anxiety. DML wants to make sure everyone can enjoy our library.
