High school graduates interested in a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree can consider Chapman University's Accelerated Pre-Pharmacy Experience (APEx) program. This program allows students to earn their PharmD in five years.
PharmD Program Structure
The PharmD program is a year-round program that includes three 15-week trimesters in year 1 (Fall, Spring, and Summer), three 15-week trimesters in year 2 (Fall, Spring, and Summer), and then the final two 15-week trimesters in year 3 (Fall & Spring). There is a 2-week break between each trimester.

Admission Requirements
Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of reference are required, but students can submit up to four letters. One letter must be from a math or science professor. The second letter should be from someone knowledgeable about your character. A letter from a health care professional (pharmacist, nurse, physician, physician assistant, or dentist) is preferred for the second letter. If approved, a different LOR can be submitted in its place.

Interview Day
Interview days typically occur on Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm. There will be two Saturday interview days available. After the tour students are broken up into two groups. In the Group Session students are broken up into two groups to compete against each other in individual and group activities.

Parking is free to students. However, a valid virtual permit is mandatory.

Students living in apartments must submit this Graduate and Law Student Housing Request Form.
