About Carrington College Sacramento
The Sacramento campus of Carrington College is located off Highway 50, with easy access via the light rail. The two-building campus is located on a seven-acre site and offers degree and certificate programs in allied health. The campus operates from Monday to Thursday between 7:00 AM and 10:30 PM, and on Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Campus Facilities
Carrington College Sacramento boasts a range of modern facilities designed to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience. These include:

- A professional veterinary technology surgery suite.

Programs Offered
Carrington College California offers programs that lead to a certificate or associate degree in the medical, dental, and veterinary fields. The Registered Nursing/Associate Degree in Nursing programs prepare graduates to help the well-being of people in a fast-paced high-impact environment. An Associate Degree in Nursing can be earned in as few as 23 months, while a Registered Nursing degree can be completed in approximately 19 months. Tuition varies by program and location.
The Electrical Technology certificate program at the Sacramento campus is approved by the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
Carrington College prepares students to take the appropriate certification and licensures exams related to their individual majors. The College does not guarantee students will successfully pass these exams or be certified or licensed as a result of completing the program.
Accreditation and Approvals
Carrington College is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. The college is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institutions Act. This authorization allows Carrington College Sacramento to advertise/recruit and offer field placement components for specific degree programs. Distance Education
Carrington College is authorized to offer distance education in the following states: AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, MS, MO, MT, NC, ND, NV, NJ, NM, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, and WY.
Transferability of Credits
The transferability of credits earned at Carrington College Sacramento is at the discretion of the receiving college, university, or other educational institution. Students considering transferring should not assume that credits earned in any program of study will be accepted by the receiving institution. To minimize the risk of having to repeat coursework, students should contact the receiving institution in advance for evaluation and determination of transferability of credits and/or acceptability of degrees, diplomas, or certificates earned.
