Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities
Interns engage in challenging projects with real business impact, working on hypothesis-driven strategy analysis and building valuation models or data products on AWS infrastructure using SQL, Python, and Spark. This allows interns to develop critical-thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
As an intern, you will work collaboratively on small project teams, partner with experienced consultants and learn about technology and the financial services industry, and advance critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills in an inclusive environment dedicated to professional development.

Eligibility and Requirements
The Capital One Strategy Consulting Summer Internship is available to junior-level undergraduate students interested in learning about the financial services industry. While specific preferred majors can vary, a strong aptitude for analytical and problem-solving skills is essential. Preferred Majors: Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting or Marketing. All majors welcome.

Compensation and Benefits
In our 10-week internship programs, you’re paid to dig into challenging projects with real business impact. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Full-Time Opportunities
Interns will be evaluated for a full-time position within Strategy Consulting, with start dates one year following the completion of the internship. Full-time hires for this role will start as a cohort with other Strategy Consulting associates in August 2026.
