A Local Star Stays Home
Marshall's connection to Orlando runs deep. Growing up in Lake Mary, just 30 minutes from the UCF campus, he starred as a cornerback for Lake Mary High School, leading them to multiple state playoff appearances. This proximity to home has instilled in him a unique sense of pride and responsibility every time he steps onto the field.
"It means so much to see the whole city of Orlando coming out to support us. And it means even more being from Orlando. I'm just so excited to get back in front of the fans, in front of my family,” Marshall shared. This sentiment underscores his commitment to representing his city and the university with distinction.
His decision to return to UCF for his senior season in 2026, announced via social media, further solidifies his role as a hometown anchor. In a landscape of constant transfers and roster turnover, Marshall's loyalty stands out.

A Strong Defense
Marshall is confident in his team's abilities, particularly the depth and strength of the defense. He believes that there is no drop-off in performance, regardless of who is on the field.
"We have a strong first, second, and third group. And that's big and that's key. There's no layoff from anyone, no break, and that goes for all our defense," Marshall stated. This level of trust and togetherness has the Knights’ defense poised to be a formidable force.
