Local Chapter Benefits

  • UNM ASME Chapter Membership: If you are already interested in officially joining, here's how the membership works: We require a $26 membership due every year paid here or during one of our meetings. This helps to confirm that you have submitted your dues payment and to process your membership with ASME national.
  • Wright State University Student Section: The name of this organization shall be the American Society of Mechanical Engineers- Wright State University Student Section. The officers shall hold a business meeting a minimum of twice a semester during the regular academic year. Students in the United States will receive their membership certificate and pin from their university's ASME Student Section advisor.
  • One-stop-shop: Your one-stop-shop to stay up to date on mechanical engineering scholarships, opportunities, and skill workshops.

Requirements for ASME Student Membership

Any student in good standing with the university and College of Engineering can be a part of ASME.

Cost

Student membership is only $25 a year, and freshmen can take advantage of FREE membership for their first year as a student member.
