- Dr. Mabry: Award-winning designer with 20 years of experience including 10 years as Art Director, plus owner of Mabry Creative. Dr. Mabry holds a Doctorate in Education and Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from SCAD.
- Mark: Creative Director turned entrepreneur who built a client base from a handful to over 300 through his company Creative Avenue. Mark's illustration work spans digital animations for companies to fine art gallery showings.

- Kat Conde: Big congratulations to Graphic Design student Kat Conde on winning FOUR Student ADDY Awards at the 2026 Nashville Student ADDY Awards, presented by the Nashville chapter of the American Advertising Federation! Kat earned a GOLD ADDY for Thornwood: Original Typeface Design Poster, created in her Advanced Typography course, and a SILVER ADDY for her Decadence magazine design from her Publication Design course. She also earned two SILVER ADDYs for her Nashville Scene work, including the 2025 Best of Nashville cover and category pages, plus three additional covers created during her Fall 2025 internship with the publication.

Nossi's Chili Championship: The heat was on at our Annual Nossi Chili Championship! Yesterday, four of our talented faculty members went head to head in a friendly culinary showdown. We are so happy to see our students and faculty come together to make this event such a massive success.
Hands-On Shoots: Students experimented with shutter speed, timing, and movement to create their own images. These photos show how hands‑on shoots help students build real technical confidence and discover their creative voice.
Bridal Portrait Practice: Instructor Jordan Rocque transformed Studio A into a full wedding‑portrait setup with strobes, backdrops, and lighting gear for his Wedding Events class. Models Alanah Rushing and Jaina Shalice stepped into bridal looks while students took turns directing, posing, and photographing them.
Illustration Environments: Students in Laird Ogden’s Illustration Environments class presented their first project of the semester: tropical settings designed to feel like the beginning of a story. These presentation days give students the chance to talk through their choices, get feedback, and see how different approaches to the same theme can all work. They explored color, light, composition, and atmospheric perspective as they built environments that could belong in an animation, graphic novel, children’s book, or game.
Location Lighting Techniques: Kayla Staton’s Location Lighting Techniques class visited Amqui Station to practice working with natural light, colored smoke, and client interaction. Students took turns directing and posing their model while learning how to select the best location for a clean, distraction‑free shot.
