- William Goldman Foundation: This foundation provides scholarships for dental students with financial need who are in the top 1/3 of their class and have completed their first year of dental school.
- William M. Strutzel & Carole Knopf: These scholarships are provided for dental students with demonstrated financial need.
- William B. Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded by the Admissions Committee to outstanding individuals accepted into the DDS program based on academic excellence. One $5000 scholarship per year is available each spring to D2 students for disbursement in their D3 year. One scholarship for $1000 is offered each spring to DH 2 students. Criteria include need, academic achievement, and community service. Up to three scholarships of $2000 are awarded each year (based on the availability of funds) to D4 and DH2 students to be disbursed half in fall and half in spring of the current academic year. This $1000 scholarship is based on the availability of funds each year. Scholarships of $1000 are awarded annually to D2 students with an EFC less than $5000 and a GPA of 3.0 or greater. No application is needed for this scholarship. This scholarship of $1500 is awarded by the Admissions Committee to incoming D1 students based on the availability of funds. This scholarship of $1000 is available to full-time students pursuing a degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry on the basis of academic achievement, community service and financial need.
- Dr. Claude R. Nabers Scholarship: One scholarship of $2500 is awarded annually to a D2 or D3 student.
- Drs. William and Linda Hurt Scholarship: One scholarship of $1000 awarded to a DH1, D1, D2, or D3 student based on the availability of funds.
- Dr. Emily A. Nelson Scholarship: This scholarship of $1500 is awarded by the Admissions Committee to incoming D1 students based on the availability of funds.
- Ruth Riley Swords, D.D.S. Scholarship: Two scholarships of $750 awarded to a DH1 or DH2 student in the spring. One to two scholarships to a D1 student in the top 20% of the entering class.
- American Dental Hygienists Association: The American Dental Hygienists Association offers multiple scholarships ranging from $1000-$2000 for DH1 students. Criteria include GPA, need, and membership in the ADHA. This scholarship of $5000 is available to D3 and D4 students. Applications are submitted online and are available in the spring.
- Herschel S. Horowitz Scholarship: One scholarship is available for D1 students each spring. Applications are submitted online. The scholarship continues through D4 and the amount each year is based on fund performance. *You must complete the University Scholarship Application.
- National Dental Association: The National Dental Association offers a variety of Dental Scholarships. Awards range from $500 up to $20,000. The Foundation supports scholarships for the entire dental team including assistants, hygienists, dental students and Post-doctoral students.
- The ICD-WUDAA Scholarship Program: The ICD-WUDAA Scholarship Program offers annual scholarships to dental students. Dental student candidates shall demonstrate financial need and be in good standing at a USA dental school approved by ADA/CODA. International students are eligible and performance and documented leadership activities.
