In some cases, CE courses can even count towards an ACC college degree. ACC Career Services offers a free, 4-week course called Strategies for Today’s Jobs. You’ll learn to find job openings, write a successful resume, and land interviews in this digital era. Austin Community College's Continuing Education department offers a wide range of courses.

Programs Tailored to Your Needs

ACC CE offers a wide range of courses. ACC Continuing Education provides a variety of career/industry certificate programs to help students obtain a job or a better job quickly (usually within six months or less). CE also offers Community Education and Personal and Professional Development courses. These CE programs and courses are found in most of ACC’s Areas of Study.

ACC's STEPS offers a variety support to help adults achieve their goals. Individualized instruction is important to student success through STEPS. Developing appropriate social skills is a central element in all ACC's STEPS classes. Students must successfully complete 9 core classes and 2 electives to receive an Occupational Skills Award from Austin Community College.

Ready for more of a challenge? Complete the first course or another equivalent prerequisite* to enroll in Salesforce Administration Essentials for New Admins (ITSW 1077). Dive into this comprehensive hands-on course. It includes critical training for new Salesforce Admin and excellent preparation for the Salesforce Certified Administrator exam. You'll gain the skills to secure your CRM environment, customize applications (pages, fields, tabs), create workflows and automations, and run keys metrics, reports and dashboards.

Starting March 3! Once you complete Fundamentals class, or meet one several other prerequisites*, dive into this comprehensive, 42-hour hands-on course. It is a crucial step for new system administrators and is recommended preparation for the Salesforce Certified Administrator exam.
