Accreditation and Locations
United Education Institute in Morrow and Dallas, and UEI Colleges in Phoenix, Garden Grove, Reseda, Chula Vista, Ontario, Huntington Park, West Covina, Stockton, Reseda, Phoenix and Oceanside are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). In addition, UEI College Riverside is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). This accreditation reflects a commitment to providing quality education that meets or exceeds standards. United Education Institute has Texas campuses located in Dallas and Houston. UEI College Sacramento opened its doors in January 2019 is happy to welcome you as a prospective or new student. Our school has been open since 2011 and we’ve been helping Riverside-area students obtain the education and skills they need to embark on a new career.
Program Offerings
UEI College offers a wide range of career training programs designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for specific industries. These programs include healthcare and trade programs. The wide range of programs we offer gives you the opportunity to get real-world experience at a local employer through an externship opportunity. Here are some of the programs available at UEI College:
- Automotive Technician: This program trains students on how to diagnose, repair, and maintain automobiles, covering engines, transmissions, fuel systems, emission systems, steering systems, brake systems, and climate control systems.
- Business Office Administration: This program teaches students how to use essential office software that includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher and prepares them for an entry-level position as an administrative assistant or office assistant. The program will teach you the basics of communication.
- Criminal Justice: The Criminal Justice diploma program will prepare you for an exciting career in the criminal justice field, such as security officer, retail loss prevention, private investigator employee, or store detective.
- Electrician Technician: The Electrician Technician program will teach you how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- HVAC: The HVAC program will teach you how to install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Medical Assistant: The Medical Assistant program will teach you how to assist physicians and healthcare professionals in a medical office or clinic. In 2023, the most common 1 to 2 Year Postsecondary Certificate concentrations at UEI College-Riverside were Medical Assistant (303 degrees awarded)
- Medical Office Specialist: The Medical Office Specialist program will teach you medical office management, insurance processing, medical billing, medical record management, and bookkeeping. The program will prepare you for a healthcare career in a medical clinic, dental clinic or hospital.
- Pharmacy Technician: The Pharmacy Technician Program will teach you how to assist patients with obtaining their prescription medications by filling prescriptions, counting medications, and even performing compounding under the direct supervision of pharmacists.
- Welding: The Welding program will teach you metal cutting, brazing, gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), and blueprint reading.
Hands-on Training and Real-World Experience
At UEI in Dallas and Houston, our programs offer hands-on training, which involves attending labs where you will work with your hands using actual equipment that you will encounter in the real world. Our vocational and trade school programs are constructed with current industry standards in mind. Upon graduating from UEI, you'll be confident in your skills. Trade school programs offer professional training for specialized skills and careers. Individuals who would benefit from a trade school program want to become experts in a field quickly and enter the workplace successfully after they graduate. Additionally, a trade school program may be best suited for individuals who learn better from a practical, hands-on approach rather than strict textbook instruction.

At UEI, we aim to not only train you, but work with you to find an entry-level position after you graduate. Flexible Scheduling
Here at UEI College, our vocational and trade school programs are built around you. We know life can get busy, so that’s why we offer morning and evening classes that put you back in control of your time. At UEI, we understand that life happens, which is why we created a curriculum that focuses on instructional and lab experiences to provide you with hands-on training in as little as 10 months.
Financial Aid and Affordability
Finances should not be a roadblock to your education. At UEI, we work with you to make school affordable. Our student finance team will sit down with you and explore your options for your education. They will explore scholarships, grants, loans, and payment plans with you to help make school affordable. Students can speak with a student finance team member to learn more about paying for school. Our advisors will discuss loans, grants, scholarships, and more.
Campus Environment and Personalized Attention
All of the students enrolled at UEI College Riverside participate in vocational programs and benefit from having individual attention from all our staff and course instructors. We offer smaller classes (30:1) so that each and every one of our students gets the help and attention they need to be successful in our programs. Your education is important, so UEI College focuses on providing students with smaller classes. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 30:1, you will get the personalized attention you need and deserve. As a student at our Sacramento campus, you will find that your educational experience is personalized from day one. Our instructors and staff learn each student’s name and greet you as you enter and exit the classroom or lab. You will find that your vocational training takes a unique approach to learning. Each classroom is designed to enhance learning, and our labs provide you with real-world simulations to ensure you receive the hands-on training you need. Our staff is like family, and every one of them is handpicked. When we hire instructors, we don’t just look at their academic resume - we look at who they are as a person and what they can add to this community. We consider all our students, instructors, and staff to be part of the UEI College family. Every day on campus, we’ll say hello, smile, and greet you by name. We also organize a number of different student-centered events so that you can make new friends and network with other students and prospective employers. At UEI, we want your experience to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Both Dallas and Houston campuses are conveniently located near many popular amenities and eateries.
